This piece is about a lost woman trying to find her place
beyond the sea. The traditional Burmese costume represents an identity or culture, the sea is the current
society she lives in and the waves are the people who fill it with confusion, doubts and materialistic desires towards a better future. This sense of belonging is something we can all relate to in some way.
